Afternoon at Amadell
Saturday, 01 June 2019, 1:00PM - 4:00PM
Join the caretakers of Amadell for an afternoon of mindfully exploring the forest. Activities may include: sage cleansing, walking the labyrinth (tutorial included), enjoying the Music of the Plants box (literally listening to the sound of plants), connecting with trees exercise, outdoor meditation, and more! This is a great way to be introduced to this special land for those who have not visited before, or a great way to reconnect with the spirit wilderness here for those who have. Depending on the group, activities may change but it is intended to be approachable and accepting of all levels of practice and experience. There will be lots of walking outside (up and down the mountain) but nothing too strenuous. This event will be weather dependent so it is required to RSVP so we can keep participants updated about the event.
It is required to RSVP before 31 May (Friday) at noon to attend this event. If this is your first time to Amadell, driving directions will be provided after RSVP is confirmed. This event is offered freely but with a suggested donation of $10 - $30, all of which goes back into maintaining the trails and general upkeep of the land for visitors. Donations can be made online by clicking here.
